Have had a step trainer for years, found it very good at the start of the year when the weather is not very good. it's the type with steps and handles attached by rubber straps to do upper body exersise as well as steps. Over the years the rubber straps have perished and snapped, last week in Halfords they were doing inner tubes for £3.00, just the job, bought 2 25/700 fitted them to trainer, work a treat. as my yearly fitness improves I can change them for a thicker / stronger type to give more resistance
