Can anyone recomend me a stem fot my tarmac... prferably from wiggle and around the £20 mark? Thanks

I put a powerplay one on mine, it was sub £20 and it seems to have done the job. It wasn't from Wiggle though, it was from the EBC; looking on line they've got the model up for £21.50.

I think they had more lengths in the shop but thats no good to you, mine a 110mm. I'd be tempted by the Ritchey as I've heard the name more, the weight saving of the other is probably too small to be important and crucially the Ritchey's cheaper. I wouldn't take my word on this though.

have you looked 2nd hand? Veloriders or ebay will find you a good one.

Stems are a personal thing and the small ads are littered with stems that people no longer need. I have bought at least 5 expensive stems for less than £20 as people have upgraded to different stems

Just go for one that looks good and comes in the length and angle you need!

at the moment. Feels rock solid and matches my 3t ergosum bars so no complaints.
Have used those Ritchey comps in the past with no problems.

Check your handlebar size (diameter) before buying another stem - don't Tarmacs come with oversize bars - 31.8 mm? - the stems above take 26 mm dia.
edit: the other thing to be aware of is that you may need to change or adjust the spacers on the steerer - not all stems have the same dimension (height) steerer clamp.
