I have a Fsa stem 60mm am I ok to use it with the rf bars or will I need a rf stem to Mach? Thang Lee!

Yep, it'll be fine as long as the handlebar clamp is the right size, 25.4mm or 31.8mm

you can buy shims for oversize stems if your bars are the thinner 25.4 ,
1 1/8" stems are universal so its down to personal preference, so you will defiantly need a red raceface stem if the colour an logo dont match

Not sure I'd be happy heading downhill on some rocky stuff with a shimmed bar. I'd much rather know I'd got the right thing on at the right torque setting!

Rather you than me. No way on earth would I ride a bike with shimmed bars on anything more technical than a canal path!!

 Because of vibration not a preferred method for rigid forks downhill , not an engineer but my 200mm marzcocchi 888 downhill forks has a direct mount stem that came supplied with cnc machined 25.4 bar shims , I prefer thicker bars though , obviously correct size cnc.machined shims "not a beer can" does the job , mate had doubts for his nads using a shim for his I-beam seat-post on an odd sized norco frame, even my fat arse never affected it.

Thanx for all the advice i couldnt pick the bars up on friday and i had a chance to squeeze a ride out to newcastleton today so looks like monday.

I will have to take some pics of the bike aswell, ive seen the stems on c-r-c think it was a ns stem that had a orange plastic insert for smaller bars!
i like the feel of the fatter bar also do like the bars to be long but not to long 725 mm seems nice but they also do them in 800mm or so!

I've always used Cateye lights and never had any fitting issues, and my computer is a Bryton Rider 35, this comes with 2 sets of bands to suit either size bars/stem.

I've also used Cateye computers and never had any fitting issues with them either.
