Status updates not working?

Just posted a status update and it hasn't appeared at the top of the list despite me closing the browser and then coming back in just to double check! It does show on my profile page.

I'm using my fingers to type into a laptop on the kitchen table........

It may look the same but it's a completely different add-on and this version has a cache (to stop it querying the database every time it's loaded) - but the cache rebuild is only every 60 minutes.

I've requested a custom timing option (so that we can set CC to refresh quicker) and the developer has said he'll add it into the next version.

I'll re-raise this query as the status column still doesn't appear to be working quite right. I commented on someone's status and it never appeared in the column but does show if you visit that persons profile page????
