Stackpole and Castlemartin Military Range

Not the longest or hardest ride by a long chalk, but certainly one of the most scenic. Beautiful trails along the side of the Bosherston Lily Ponds, narrow bridges over the ponds to cycle over, then St Govan's head, through the trail on Castlemartin Military firing range (check live firing times before you go) along the top of some stunning craggy coastline to Stack rocks which was covered in seabirds.

Absolutely stunning.

Yes, South Pembrokeshire, just a bit west of Tenby. Lovely part of the world.

When I was in the Army I witnessed a night time live firing exercise by 3 squadrons of tanks at Castlemartin. Pretty damn impressive!
I also rode from there to Tenby with a mate on Army issue bikes.
