Having completed my ride to John o' Groats, I now want to find out if there is a nicer/safer way to ride from St. Austell to Tavistock.
If anyone who has ridden ridden all or most of this route can share your advice, I'd appreciate hearing your suggestions.
The obvious route is along A390, but this is a busy, crowded, fast, narrow road and it will test the sanity of anyone chancing it.
There is a myriad of country lanes which spread both sides of A390 so if I can put them together and maintain the general direction, I'll give it a try next time I will be in the region.
