sram quick link or shimano pin

guys I have a few 9 speed bikes where I have converted the chain to sram 971 quick link
but i have 2 bikes ones the wife which have the original shimano chain.I carry spare sram quick links for emergencies but was wondering if they fit the shimano chain or would I need to buy spare shimano pins for the shimano chains the type you fit and break the end off

any help appreciated

The sram powerlink for a 9 speed chain will fit a 9 speed chain from ANY manufacturer, inc. Shimano so you will be fine.
Much better than the pin system too imho.
