sram and microshift ?or sram repair infor mation

I do not think they are compatible but i had to ask : )

Is the microshift shifter compatible with sram rear mechs?, i bent my rear apex shifter a while back and manage to bend it back as i was quoted £200 for a new one .In the event it fails i have heard that sram sti can be repaired but where would i send it to?

Looked at microshift on ebay and i can get a l+r sti+ front and rear mechs for less than 1 sram shifter.

I think Microshift are Shimano compatible so would take a Sram cassette but not a Sram rear mech because of the pull ratio. I might be wrong though.

Seen a couple of used sets come up in classifieds recently (Bikeradar I think) for very reasonable prices.

Cheers , its a right hand i need edited OP as i said front Doh !! had a look on bike radar and i might be in luck as a listing for some sram shifters does not say sold so i have pm`d the seller.
