On my bike tonight and wondered what the constant but variable ticking noise was coming from my back wheel. Got off and the wheels spun freely. Noise was worse when going uphill. Eventually worked out it appears to be my spokes where they cross each other.
Anyway I gave them a drop of oil but wondered if anyone else had this problem and also how best to sort - probably better with some grease. Are the spoke maybe loose? Thanks.
