I'm doing the Cheshire Mini, its my first ever group ride, let alone sportive.

Nervous!

Which one the 30 pr 60? Both will be good and not too tough.

I only returned to cycling at the end of November, am up to flat rides of 30 miles at 13.5mph - just need to build in some hills and shift a bit more weight!

If you're already doing 30's then you will be fine
