It must be spring...I've had my first race away from the traffic lights with a fast car. Yes of course he won, he's in a CAR. What is it about sap rising that makes shiny sports car drivers want to rev their engines from a standing start with anything on wheels... is it just me? Is it my fantastically cool '85 Raleigh Panache aka The Rustbucket that so clearly can go 0-60 in at least 60 seconds (if falling vertically from an aircraft). It always happens, every spring.
Apart from that, spring is great....dry road, I can feel my toes...warm, brill and my inexpertly expelled snot all down my sleeve has actually dried off by the time I get home so I don't have to lie to the kids that I was run over by a giant snail.

Expelling snot in an expert way takes a lot of dedication. I have studied many a foreign import to the Premier League and am still nowhere near their standard.

Spring definitely seems to be in the process of springing, the weather this evening was so mild and not a breath of wind and just felt really calm. May there be many more days like it soon.

Killed a car tonight from the lights, they changed just as I arrived at the ASL so popped in some sprint, and was off.
Way to go fossyant! I got overtaken by a streetsweeper on Friday. Mortifying. (In my defence it wasn't actually sweeping at the time)
