Does anyone on here have copies of the sporting cyclist magazine for year 1963.
If you do could you please look up when in that year the Ted Gerrard adverts ceased.
I have only one copy for April and that does have a Ted Gerrard advert.
Also when the Alan Shorter adverts started from the Ted Gerrard shop address.

Can’t help with that I’m afraid but I did buy, or rather my father bought for me, a Ted Gerrard bike in about 1962. I think I went on to replace just about every component on it. Happy days.
Never been able to find much about him on the net. Were you local?

Thanks for reply re Ted Gerrard - I have heard that he got on the wrong side of the law but have no confirmation of that.
No not local to the area but I ordered my Alan Shorter later in 63 from the ex T.G. shop that Alan had taken over
