Yes I'm hoping to do this I would like to think I'm fit enough for the 50 mile but in reality I'm not!!

Booked in for the final departure of the 25 miles in Glasgow. Would love to have done the 50, but no public transport can get me there early enough - and I'm not cycling to get there as a warm up!

I'm booked in for the 50 miler for this. Does anyone have a detailed map of the route, as the one on the page is pretty poor. I'd like to get it into my Garmin and maybe do a part of it before the event. I think I can make out the route from outwith Glasgow itself but unsure within the built up areas from the start and to the finish.

I did mention it to SWMBO, but am under instruction that I won't be doing it:whistle: Hopefully fully fit for a few organised rides next year..

...although thanks to my stupidity in trying to get sponsorship, I'm now cycling the 27+ miles home.

On another forum I have seen this route from Demaharg, he has plotted the route himself tracing from the broad outlines from the original route from SR.

Obviously there is a lot at the beginning and end which should not be included.
But you'll get the gist. Fairly steep from the outset....
