Hi

A group of us are doing the Aspire Sponsored Channel Swim.

Basically, the idea is we all go to local pools, record how many lengths we do, and we're aiming between us to hit the 22 mile mark.

We pay our own pool fees, so all money donated goes to the spinal injury charity.

Have to say I probably swim as efficiently as I cycle, ie not really at all.

Water goes in all directions, I burn off a huge amount of energy, and the far end of the pool gets slightly less distant ......
They say its good for you (as long as you don't drown).
