Hi all I have had my diamondback contraflow from new since August and I have had to have my wheel rebuilt once. Yesterday I got back off a ride and noticed some of my spokes were loose again. Can anyone give any insight as to why this is happening. I do most of my cycling on canal towpaths which range from mainly Tarmac to grass and gravel but I'm sure that the bike should be more than capable of dealing with that. Thanks

Once a wheel is properly tensioned it should last for its whole life. Sometimes some re-tensioning may be needed during that time, but I have never had any spokes actually come loose. It may be that your wheel has been assembled with nipples that do not match the spokes?

My LBS have tightened them up and trued the wheel so hopefully it should be sorted now. I am beginning to get quite frustrated as every time I go out something seems to go wrong. Up to now, new forks, wheel rebuild x 2, new peddles (due to clips breaking), new chainset, peddles tightened twice . Not bad since September eh.
