spokes broken, possible warped wheel

I'm not sure what the best course of action is. I'm not very good with cycle maintenance so I'm thinking maybe it's best to just replace the wheel.

Two spokes are broken,

It's the rear wheel of a Kona Fire Mountain 2009,

Your help is very appreciated. I'm on a tight budget so not too bothered about how great the wheel would be. I think I feel confident enough to replace the two spokes but don't think I'd be able to get rid of the warp.

Take it to your local bike shop and ask them to assess it. Repairs will most likely be possible and cost less than a new wheel.

True but it is very likely spokes are suffering from metal fatigue in which case other spokes will break regardless of how many you replace. If that is the case then the OP sooner or later will figure that a new wheel and a good wheel is the way forward. Going by the components used on the wheel I don't expect this to be of great quality anyway.

So, get the spoke replaced and the spokes tighten up if need be but if you get more broken spokes then consider a new wheel.

As said. Replace this time, presuming the LBS says the wheel isn't too warped which they probably won't. That's around £15 outlay depending on LBS and from sketchy memory. If it does spokes again, sort out another wheel.

Unless it has a silly low spoke count and you have an unfortunately high pie count, in which case you might want to consider the middle bit as a waste of time and money.

Bike is a bit of a write off sadly. I think main the problem is the crank and bracket, just very loose. Overall will just cost too much to sort out really. Think I'm gonna sell the frame (which is fine) to anyone who really wants it. The forks are ok, although no lock out. rear mech failed a while ago so gonna strip off the one that replaced it (thanks numbnuts for giving me that one).

I found a bike in a hedge a month ago, handed it into the police. Just needs a rear mech so will use that. It's a bit of a BSO but hey, if it gives me a few years of riding, it cost me didly squit anyway. As long as I make it road worth. It has no suspension which is great.
