After experiencing varying levels of minor pain in my lower right abdomen recently, went to see my GP a few days back and have been diagnosed with a suspected condition of the title. Apparently, it's very rare AND notoriously difficult to diagnose, so CT scans have been booked and a more accurate diagnosis & prognosis can then be made. He also said I have an enlarged aorta, which having read up on the symptoms, I'm not unduly surprised, so it's all getting interesting - !
Apparently the hernia can be fatal and is only treatable by surgery, although it seems it's been detected in an early stage, but I have a very optimistic view on life, so what happens, will happen. No point in worrying about what might happen eh - ?
The annoying thing is that I don't do 'ill' and it's tricky for me to override my natural Irish stubbornness and I have to keep reminding myself to slow down and go at a slower pace.
On the bright side, this isn't preventing me from cycling - !
