Hi,

Please could someone help? I've just bought a Trek 7.5 which has speedtrap digital sensor cases but I believe no sensors. I'd like to kit the bike to have a spedometer but don't know if I need to buy the sensor(s) only, or to buy sensor(s) and some device to sit on the handlebars...thought this eould be obvious but I can't see a compatable device on the internet.

Please could anyone help?

Many thanks

Callie.

Hi Callie,

I looked at a Trek at the weekend and came across speed trap for first time and liked the ability to have it built in. I take it you've seen them on the Trek site - this appears to be all the available related products:

http://bontrager.com...=united_kingdom

That is the more expensive of the two models - it comes with the magnet that goes on the spokes. Below it, on the same page you can see links to the cheaper model and the two models of computer you can get to go with it. They are the Trek / Bontrager offerings. You can get other computers - they just need to be ANT+ compatible - how many others are made by other people that are like this I don't know.

If you need more advice I found a really helpful shop at the weekend that stocks them - may not be near you but am sure they'd be only too happy to advise you - East Street Cycles, Farnham - 01252 723 888.
