Great going with baby, trailer and shopping.

Had a look at last Fridays I have graphs looking like that hilly starts flattish bit then hilly ends.
Just add you as a friend on endomondo if thats ok.

This was my ride tonight. http://www.endomondo.com/workouts/khH08Rj2Zy0

Ignore the altitude for some reason its doesnt always show right from the app, if I export it it does on strava

I had to take the steeper route as there is a chicane fence (not sure what they're really called) on the other route through a park, means I can't get the trailer through without lifting it. No way that was going to happen with all the shopping in it!

With the alt I've found that as long as I start the gps before the app and give it a minute with a clear view of the sky then I don't get so many odd readings. But then I've not compared altitudes between endo and strava, maybe I'll find there is a difference.

I am not sure how that works on the N95 I just start the app and it starts the gps, I will look into that, though I think I will get a dedicated unit this wk or in a fortnight depends on finances.
I do like the fact endo uploads automatically though.

Ive found that the gps can be slightly off on the ulysse app as I was stood still and it said I was doing 2mph! Its accurate as a mileometer though. Ok for a bit of fun but not really for the more serious rider. I will try out the suggestions and report back in the future. Thanks for the help people-this is a great blog!

Got the endemondo app but it doesnt tell you the maximum speed you've hit on your journey like ulysse does. Im 18stone 6ft tall and on ulysse app it said I hit 23 mph when I was in second from top gear and 25mph in top. I ran out of steam in top but is this fast? My bike is 21spd mountain bike so remember 26inch wheels. I know I could go faster if I was fitter but im big and heavy so is this a good start?

Anythings a good start, but need a little more info, up hill downhill flat what distance.
I dont usually go faster than 27 mph, gears are too low, but it helps me get up the hills which is more important to me.
This is the hill I have to climb for a km just before I get home, I am beginning to sort of sprint (well maybe not sprint), but at least climb it with some effort, 4-6 wks i was just happy I could get up it without stopping whether I had done 10m or 40m.

The first section is the worst as you turn into it from the main road, so you dont really have any forward momentum

If you go to the endomondo site and have a look on there it will give you break downs, distance covered avg speeds, time for each mile segments, quickest mile, km, 10 mile ect...

I use the runkeeper app on my phone, used it for over 12 months while I was running, now switched to cycling and find the app works well.
here is just a little screen shot. (Gives you lots of info about your ride)
