There are certain model years that are of great interest to Stumpy adficionados. If it one of those 4 or 5 sweet-spot years they can change hands for silly money. If its not it'll depreciate right quick as most MTBs tend to do. A lot of retailers are selling unsold 2012 stock for huge discounts right now, and that further hits used values.

Frame is at least a 2007 and maybe older up to 2004, but likely 05' onwards due to disc's. Hard to tell from your pic what spec it is. Look on Bike radar, as well as other sites.

From other bikes around I can't see you getting anything over £500 (it looks in good condition) for it, however... It's only worth what someone will pay and it someone thinks its work £KK then great!!

The Stumpy frame appears to have been updated with gay curved tubes for 2007. The frame is between 2004 & 2006, and the colour appears to be specific to the 2004 base model Stumpy (ie the one I bought), as are the Manitou Black Elite forks. It's been updated with discs at some point but still has the original tyres.

QED! I reckon, anyway.

I was wrong once - I thought I was wrong about something but I wasn't. ^_^

cheers for replys guys not wanting a fortune for it to be honest theres a minter on ebay now a blue one so ill track that he want 750 but i dont want any where near that cheers again

I think you need to consider the selling fees etc. I don't sell much but if I recall correctly you lose nearly 20% of final value through associated fees.

Looked like a nice bike though, I think you did well out of your swap!
