Hi folks, is there any chance someone could tell me which free hub i would need to buy for my sirrus expert 2009 , im pretty sure the cassete is an sram pg 950 9 speed if thats any help. Thanks in advance Rossco.

I could be wrong but when I replaced the whole lot (wheels) on my sirrus (2006); I just asked the lbs for ones with a shimano compatible hub. I've got a SRAM cassette on at the moment (8sp though). I thought you only got two types Shimano and Campagnolo freehubs.

I think that they use unbranded hubs for that bike - so spares will be hard to come across.

What is wrong with the existing freehub - any chance of a repair?

You will be able to get a new freehub body from a specialized dealer but you will have to take it off the wheel as there a lots of different ones {as in the way they fit to the hub not weather they are shimano or campag} or take the whole thing to the dealer and let them do it, freehub bodys are around the £20 mark and shouldn't be more than £10-£15 labour.
