The 06 is a great bike, iirc the 2010 is a little lower geared (smaller chain rings/ larger cassette) but that won't matter to most folk and will in fact make it easier on hills. I think they've also added carbon forks too.

Hi

I have this very machine.

Very pleased with it.

Points to note:

Stock wheels are poor - my rear had an issue with going out of true - eventually changed by supplying dealer after some 'issues' were aired. Replaced with Shimano RS10's and much improved.

Seat post has also been u/g to a full carbon FSA jobbie.

Gearing is indeed a little lower, but that actually isn't a problem, especially on the steeper climbs.

Standard tyres gave me no end of grief with punctures, swapped out for something with better protection.

Very pleased with the machine, comfortable, quick, well built (apart from the stock wheels), nice paint scheme (actually met white when view in light).

Recommended.

WO.

I've got the basic Sirrus '10 model,
I had the same issues with the Alex rims, from new they went out of true four times within a month, once within two days of normal commuting(sept time nice weather few potholes) the cassette had horrendous wobble also .......replaced with RS10's, they've now done 1000 miles almost and still going strong!

Bought the bike with 32c Armadillos and replaced after a while with 23c gatorskins(both good tyres).

I've since put on a decathlon cheapo computer so I know the time easily and curious about the speed, a tortec expedition rear rack(sick of having a sweaty back) SKS mudgards(took less than an hour to fit) spd's and lights.

Excluding the wheels and a strange creak that seems to have disappeared it has been faultless.

warranty for me.

new rs10's can be had for 90ish quid if you shop around, but plenty of other choice about.

Didnt cost me a penny for any faults or retruing(sp?) the wheels or the replacement wheels.
LBS sorted it all out.

I highly recommend it!
