Specialized Phenom squeaks and creaks.

I recently purchased a Specialized Phenom Expert saddle for my MTB. On the first ride it squeaked a bit on uphill climbs. I put some dry lube,WD40 etc on the rails where they fit into the base of the saddle and the squeak turned into a click when climbing. It's a great saddle for comfort, but with a £100 price tag, I wasn't happy, so I returned it to my LBS where I bought it from. After the Spanish Inquisition, they are reluctantly replacing it, which has so far taken over 2 weeks, which I'm not overly pleased about, but that aside, has anyone else had a problem with these otherwise great saddles?

Asuming this is road ? Or id think reverb as they are usually a pain with clicks and squeeks.

I usually use a bit of lube on rails to stop creaks and that usually sorts it. Or its a seat post prob?
100 quid seat should be perfect tho

Definitely not the seatpost as no other saddle does it. I'm using it on my mountain bike. I agree, it should be perfect at that price. I'll see what happens with the replacement when it finally arrives!

My Fizik Arione did squeak a bit for a while then it stopped, but I did put it on another bike so perhaps the saddle wasn't set right but it has stopped at the moment.
