SPD sl and wet leaves

Went out this morning with my new SPd sl pedals and did the standard falling over at a set of lights, quite funny. My LBS told me you have at least two accidents when you start using them.

Then at quite a high speed on a corner, hit some wet leaves, and had quite a big crash. Pedals clipped in, over Kirb and into some bushes. Nice, luckily a sore knee.

Car drivers going the other turned around and stopped for me, asked how I was and if I needed a lift. There are still some decent people about.

All ok, although I'm more concerned about My bike, think the rear derailer has got some damage.

Glad to hear you are OK. Nice people drive cars to ? Thats good to hear What damage has the mech received might only be a bent cage.
