SPD shots that look like Road shoes?

Does anyone sell SPD compatible shoes that look like Road shoes? Ie sleek not chunky, svelte not boxy. I run SPDs on my road bike but I want to look a bit more classy. I'm shallow like that...

Shimano RT32 or RT82 both have a recessed cleat in a thicker sole

Lots of road shoes will accommodate SPD cleats anyway.

loads of makes do a combination of fitting on the bottom now, plus wiggle even sell the things that convert the road fitting to mtb fitting and recess the cleat and it's hardly much bigger than the cleat! i've got them on my "road shoes" from wiggle (DHB) which i just had to have coz they were sleek and PINK!

i have some similar to these (last years design), i also have their road shoe in the same design as my MTB shoe. the only difference is the tread on the bottom. with my road shoes i bought the SPD converter and i can only say there is hardly any difference at first glance, you don't really notice the tread, it hardly shows and thus the cleat is recessed and doesn't get damaged. i only bought the road shoes because they were PINK! (not because i felt my MTB ones looked bulky) and then had to look for the converter (which also recessed the cleat). .

search for "cleat adaptor" on wiggle. my laptop is playing up and site keeps sticking. if you buy road shoes and it hasn't got holes for SPDs that's what you need.
