Not the best pics as they were taken from behind windows and a distance away so as not to scare the bird. A sparrowhawk took out a blackbird in the garden in the last ten minutes..
perhaps it's that either the news the war is over hasn't reached Norfolk yet, or they're too dim to realise the significance of something called 'VE' day.
But that aside, sparrowhawks in the garden are incredible, unless you're a blackbird or collar dove in our case.
