Hi im finding that my turbo is killing my tyres. Need some advise on avoiding this, i dont fancy changing the tyre to a turbo tyre because i ride the bike out on the weekends! I have got a spare rear wheel which came on the bike originally so was wondering if i put a new cassette (105) on it and a trainer tyre would that be okay?
Cheers

You need a new bike urgently, that way you can have a bike that lives on the turbo full time, which is what I have had now for over 25 years. Not the same bike I hasten to add.

Naaa....put the summer bike on the turbo in the winter and push your heavy old rat all through the long winter days and come spring you'll break your PR's when you get back on the proper steed..........:cuppa:

The bike that is on the turbo is a summer bike of years ago, 653 tubing and running Shimano 600. My current winter bike was a summer bike a couple of years ago and will one day be a turbo bike.
