Spain Bans Drug Testing Between 11pm and 8am

Opinions seem to differ on the significance of this - some sites are saying that it will lead to dopers "micro-dosing" EPO overnight.

Anyone know more?

The UCI could make a new rule that no pro cyclist can stay overnight in Spain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not a bad idea Keith, although it would be hard to run the Vuelta ;-)

Another wrinkle I heard about yesterday is the idea that this ban on overnight whereabouts/testing may extend to weekends too (i.e. 11pm Fri to 8am Mon). Nothing official seen yet though.

France already have a ban on testing French Athletes between 9.00pm and 6.00am not sure if its anyone residing in France or just French Nationals. Yello might know more on that one.
