Folks,
Christmas Present time and I have a question prior to ordering a set of Fulcrum Racing 3 Racing Wheel Set.

I have a 10 speed cassette on my current wheel and the Fulcrum Racing 3 can take an 11 speed cassette. When reading the Wiggle Q & A 's re the fitting of spacers there are several different answers. Some say the 1.85mm spacer is all that's needed when fitting the 10 speed cassette to the Fulcrum free hub yet others are saying that a further 1.0mm spacer is required. Does any of the resident experts on this site have a definitive answer as I assumed that all I would need would be the 1.85mm spacer. :banghead:

I think they will come with the appropriate sized spacer so you won't need to worry.

I have Campag Zonda's. Obviously not the same, but very similar. It's an 11 speed Shimano freehub on mine and came with the spacer for fitting a 10 speed cassette. The 10 speed 11-28 cassette came with its own spacer too and so left me wondering the same.

My logic was, the spacer with the cassette was needed even when fitting to a 10 speed freehub the spacer with the wheel was needed to make it equal to a 10 speed freehub. Therefore, I fitted both.

That very same month, I read a mag article that covered this very topic and said that you needed to fit both.
