sore knee toeclips

Hi guys i have been out half a dozen times on my road bike i have not been on a bike in years last couple of times out my right knee has been sore i have moved the seat up but no joy have been told it could be the toe clips and change to clipless could this help also what are good shoes and peddles
cheers guys for your help.

Yes as long as the clipless are set up right, otherwise they can make things worse

As above - but another common cause for knee pain is mashing too high a gear. Try and keep your pedal revolutions at about 80 per minute in a lower gear - this really does reduce wear and tear on your joints and once you are used to it, you will find you can ride further and faster without getting as fatigued.
