Hi & Ahoy everybody.
I am a newbbie to road bikes so here we go, i have only been riding my Boardman cx team for about six month. My first question is slightly embarrassing, how do you stop your bum pad sliding forward clumping up under your crotch :cursing: ? ?
I have a bib, am i wearing it incorrectly? i have always brought the correct waist size so any advise is greatly appreciated.

Maybe sitting down instead of sliding back when getting back onto the saddle, I have to sort myself out every now and again, which I try to do when it's quiet. Is it where your sitting that hurts? Do you use chamois cream/Vaseline as chaffing is unbearable and I had that badly at times until I tried using a lubricant

It may be that i do slide into the saddle Doh! . but if you slide wont it be that you push the fabric into place?

No, only just recently stopped wearing underwear. will saddle shape or fabric have anything to do with it?
because there is a strip of suede like fabric running along the center? will this cause friction?

SORE...!!

Sorry... had to change it....
That's completely spoilt my joke now.

To the op: Doesn't sound the right size. Is it tght to your bottom, no sag when you walk?

I have some bib shorts that are fine when I ride, but when stood up the straps come off my shoulders.
Do you have a long body/short legs or long legs/short body or any of those combinations that don't make you the physique that designers don't consider normal.
I have stumpy legs and a broad chest. ALL clothes I try on= I'm between sizes:banghead:
