Some very fine wheel truing made easy?

Not recommended, but watched this guy fixing a bent rim on Utube, any one know a wheel builder that could perhaps use such a method?

Reckon he started out with a straight wheel and made it buckled, then ran the film backwards. No fooling me.

Would that damage the bearings. Presumably the shock when he hits the wheel on the floor is transmitted straight through the axle.

Glad to see it has disc brakes. The rim would be pretty mullered after that treatment.
