Some Impressive Garmin Connect Stats

Didn't know where to post this, but I love studying my stats. Came across Team Garmins on Garmin connect.

I always wondered why the TV coverage never used the computer stats from riders, assumed it might be due to maybe wanting to keep it confidential.

If they wanted to keep it to themselves then they wouldn't have the activities on Garmin Connect!

Some of the riders that are using SRM power meters have live tracking here

No reason why it couldn't also be on tv since its public data already.

Interesting stats

Although i think they forgot to turn off the GPS when they put Farrars bike back on the bus after stage 3...he was fast but not quite this fast

Their average is 10 mph better than my best average, and over ten times the distance lol

and 56mph max speed, bet that feels zarking brilliant

That's about what I was thinking. And after I came home from my ride today so proud to have covered 20 miles in 1hr 19mins. (I'm still proud of myself, by the way. It just puts it into perspective.)
