My first time in Amsterdam last Aug/Sep. Went for the (Van Gogh/Stedelijk) museums. Honest I did!
Anyway, I was absolutely blown away by the cycling culture. Cars playing second fiddle to Bikes.
And accepting of it.
Children (without helmets) riding, without fear, enjoyment & joy visibly etched on their faces.
It is possible.
