[SOLVED]Editing posts and removing / replacing images leaves "Attached files" list at bottom of post

So how can I get rid of this? It clutters up the bottom of the post, and I'd like to remove it if possible. The post is part of a trip report I'm writing, and now the post looks bad with this "Attached files" section at the bottom.

I even tried deleting the entire post (just leaving a full-stop in it to avoid the error message about the post being empty), but the "Attached files" section still remains. This makes it impossible to back and edit an image or image link in a post without ending up with this extra section at the bottom of the post.

Click "more options" when editing, and then you can see and delete attached files.

Thanks, I had no idea that option even existed, so never bothered to use the advanced editing interface.
