Tektro TK R312 Road Bike Brake Callipers in Silver
This is a pair, front and rear, of Tektro TK R312 brake callipers finished in silver, for road bikes. They are just a year old and have been removed from a Liv (Giant) Avail bike which has received an upgraded group set.
These brakes are a dual pivot calliper system and are made of forged aluminium. They weigh approximately 380grams for the pair.
The callipers are 'short drop', i.e. the distance between the fixing bolt and pads ranges from 39-51mm. They are fitted with a quick release mechanism to allow for easy removal of the road wheel if necessary.
The brake pads show very little signs of wear.
These callipers are in generally good condition with just a small amount of surface corrosion showing on the rear calliper spring (as can be seen in the photo). This does not detract from the operation of the brakes and should be easily removed with steel wool etc.
