SOLD Shimano bar end shifters - friction only £20 posted

Sold - These are functional bar end shifters that worked well on my 3 x 8 tourer before I returned it to flat bar.

The indexing no longer works on the right shifter but it is fine on friction.

£20 posted to mainland UK.

Edit: I only use friction shifting, so these are ideal for me.

The 8 speed indexing has started to function again, after I soaked them in white spirit for a week and then oiled them.

I'm delighted. I bought them on ebay as not working for about £5 a couple of years ago; discovered they were missing the expanders to locate them in the bars. St John St Cycles sold me replacement expanders for about another £5. I used them for a year and got on well with them.

Now you have got the indexing working!

I love it.

It's taken me a few rides to get the hang of using them, but they are excellent.
