SOLD: Islabike Luath 26 - Sora 18 speed upgrade with extras, £225, Dewsbury, West Yorks

For sale: Islabike Luath 26, upgraded with extras, in blue/silver.

Comes with Shimano Sora 18 speed gears, rather than Islabike's usual 8 speed. Protek 46/34 front crankset with 150mm crank arms (Sora front derailleur) plus rear 9 speed Sora rear derailleur and cassette. Currently fitted with Schwalbe CX Pro 35mm cross tyres. Cyclo-cross top brake levers have been fitted with upgraded Clarks pads and a blue Clarks bottle cage. Headset was re-built in Dec 2015 by Sowerby Cycles, Mirfield.

Suitable for age 7-11, depending upon height. The shorter crank arms make it suitable for younger children.

It will come with new Fizik Ultragel blue bar tape fitted. Also has a bike computer with speed and cadence. Sold with SPD pedals or flat pedals, whichever are preferred.

Note that this has been used; there are some paint chips which have been touched up plus a few more minor ones. The saddle's also got a couple of chips but a spare extra saddle can be supplied.

Comes with the following extras for anyone from CC purchasing:

- Rear pannier rack (£30 from Islabike)
- Road tyres, Kenda 26x1.0
- Spare rear wheel

My boy will be 6 in November so too young but cracking bike. He will be trying next size up from his Cnoc 16 at centre parks come November to see how he gets in and how long till he steps up.

It depends on their height - the saddle height at the lowest setting is 78cm / 30.5" off the floor. Some of his club-mates are riding these age 7 but it really depends on how tall they are.
