As I understand it you deal direct with Garmin and don't need a receipt (that's how it worked for my one and only warranty claim with an Edge 205 anyway).

My Samsung galaxy s2 does the same job and I've found I ride better when I pay attention to what my body is telling me, than I do when watching my speed, hr cadence etc on the edge

Blimey! I'll admit that the accuracy on my s2 isn't bad, but it flips out too often and tells me I've gone to work via Africa! I'd love to buy your Garmin but sadly my wheels are shot, oh and the wife tells me we're desperately poor.
