I have owned this from new. I bought it August 2000 brand, new and no longer have a need for it. I have all the original documents and receipt.
It got me from Lands end to John O'Groats, 3 times and many more miles in between.
I can honestly say it is very reliable and comfortable and is still in fairly good condition but shows signs of wear and tear, normal for the age.
I have replaced the wheels, front mech and rear cassette and chain recently.
Specs:
Frame size: 22.5 inches, centre to top of seat post
Frame and forks, Reynolds 531
Wheels, CFX 700c, nearly new
Gears: 27 speed, Shimano down shifters, 9 speed triple, Shimano front mech, nearly new
Shimano rear mech
Rear rack, mud guards front and back. Bottle cage and front light holder
Cat Eye, Astrale CD100, cycle computer
Handle bars may need new tape but still usable
