Great desktop replacement machine. If you don't need awesome power, but want a big screen, this will do fine. Better than fine if you install an SSD. It has:
Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 cpu @ 2.1GHz. Max upgrade: T9500
4GB DDR2-800 RAM, max.
500GB HGST 7200rpm hard disk.
AMD Mobility Radeon HD3650 graphics, glossy 1440x900 sscreen, 17.3"
Full-size keyboard with separate numeric pad.
Slot-load DVD read-write.
5x USB ports, 1x Firewire IEEE1394, 1x Gigabit Ethernet, 1x HDMI, 1x VGA.
Multi-card reader for SD, MMC, Memory Stick Pro Cardbus slot.
Built-in Wifi-N, Bluetooth.
High capacity battery.
Bay for a second hard drive. No caddy supplied, but the interposer connector is in place, so can be used right away. A very useful facility for a laptop.
Windows 10 Pro, fully activated, updated, and tied to this hardware. Ready to use, just personalise it.
Overall cosmetic condition is good, BUT there is damage to the left hinge corner. It is taped and holding, and has been OK for 2 years. It does not affect performance in any way, and was like this when I first got it. This and some missing rubber feet are reflected in the price.
Not a machine you'd want to carry around, but on a stand, it would be great for Zwift, etc.
Reason for sale: have gone back to a big desktop due to project requirements. Happy to answer any questions.
