Dawes Galaxy Tour touring bike size 22.5" frame (57cm) in 531st Reynolds Steel.

27 Speed Deore gearing, bar end shifters, Mavic wheels.

New tyres and serviced last summer. Rear rack, mudguards and bottle cage.

The classic British steel touring bike.

In excellent mechanical order but cosmetically scruffy.

Very sought after bike.

Selling due to new bike.

Genuine private sale in Brighton, 55 mins from Victoria or an hour from London Bridge on the train. Come and have a look.

I'm 6' 2" and, having done a bit of reading up, it is in the right size range for me. I'm sorely tempted by it but

I'd then have to sell my EBC ali tourer
The shed is full
The lovely Helen will disembowel me if I buy another bike without getting ride of a few first

I'm 5 ft 11" tall and the bikes good for 2-3 inches either side I'd reckon.

If it were my size I'd have it from you in a flash. Even though it's not my size I'm tempted with a view to selling it on for a profit. Not that tempted, obviously, otherwise I'd just do it without fessing to a shameful venal streak.
Get it up on the CTC forum sales thread, for £400 or thereabouts, and watch it go like a hot cake.
531 super tourist: they don't make 'em like that anymore.
