Selling this 53cm Boardman Team Carbon Limited Edition which has been upgraded with Shimano Ultegra 10 speed gears and brakes. All in working order and wanting for nothing, tyres are almost new. Has a few age related marks but nothing serious, still looks a stunner.

Very light, fast and capable bike perfect for a serious roadie.

The 53 i assume is the seat tube which relates to a 55.5 top tube ?
my 51 is a 54 top tube

@cyberknight thats correct, Boardman measure the seat tube and size by that a 53cm seat tube will be a large with the 51cm a medium and the 48cm the small.

I’m only 5ft 7 with a 29inch leg and would ride the XS as my arms are also short and would find the small too stretched out even with a short stem. I tend to ride 100mm stems on a 48cm seat tube with 52cm top tube.

I used to have a Boardman in small but could never get completely comfortable on it even with an inline post and short 70/80mm stem, just seemed big.

It’s great when it comes to finding bikes as it means I often can fit on the extreme ends of sizing and bag a bargain like my Wiggins Rouen which owes me £270exc spare turbo wheels.
