I have here for sale a pair of Arkel RT-40 Recumbent specific panniers complete with the optional RT-40 rain covers.
The Panniers are in brand new condition, Read "Mint condition" I have only used the right side pannier on 2 occasions!
The 40 litre bags have a bomb proof solid fixing system which is completely non scratching! so no need to add chaffing gear to your rack. this system will fit any size of rack tubing with ease and without the need for adaptors due to the large rubber coated cams.
The bags are quick on and quick off with the pull of a handle.
A large main compartment with a large opening zipper to access the whole side of the bag easily.
A folding alloy frame on the inside supports the back when loaded so as to stop a sagging.
A large front pocket with zip opening and double compartment mesh pockets on the front of this.
At the rear end of the bag is a zip opening pocket which is sized nicely for the rain covers.
At the front end of the bag is another small mesh pocket to take a water bottle or other goodies making them close to hand.
Large comfortable carry handles finish the bags off nicely.
These bags show no signs of wear or tear at all!

Also included in this sale are the RT-40 pannier rain covers which are sold as an optional extra.
Also brand new and in mint condition, barring an oil stain on the right rain cover from the rain cover touching the chain when I was putting it on for the first time :-(
please see the last picture for a detailed shot of the stain, this could probably be removed with the compatible stain devil for oil if you wanted to treat it.
The left cover was never used as the left pannier was also never used!
These covers are a very nice fit and have cinch cords to take up any slack.
The covers also sport a mesh pocket so you can still keep the necessities to hand.
To buy all of this brand new as described would cost $270.00 or £160.00 for the panniers and £39.95 or £25.00 for the rain covers, a total of £185.00 before shipping and import duties from the USA.
The Price I am asking for all of this is:
£120.00 or very nearest offer + £6.50 P+P or free to collect
Postage will be by next day DPD courier or Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Payment either by Paypal, Bank transfer to Nationwide account, or cash in hand.
I will ship the same day payment is received if before 12 noon and the following day if after this. Monday to Friday only!
