The spec is as follows;

Wheels: Felt Road RSL3 Disc wheelset with Felt All Weather 700 x 25c Tyres (Wheelset and tyres have just been fitted and only 20 miles old)
Brakes: Avid BB7, ugraded in January this year from the stock BB5's
Saddle: Prologo Kappa 2 (brand new)
Shifters: Sram Apex double tap
Rear Mech: Sram Apex
Front Mech: Microshift
Chainset: FSA Gossamer Pro Compact BB30 50x34T
Bars and stem; Boardman
Chain and cassette were replaced in November last year, both Sram PC1050

This has been my winter bike for the last two years, and as expected does have wear and tear such as cable rub, crank arm rubbing, and the rear stays have chips from mounting quick release mud guards. The left hand shifter hood is scuffed. All of this I have tried to highlight in the photos.


I have just had the gear cables replaced and the mechs set up by Stows Cycles in Slough, the bar tape is also new.

Will this bike take panniers and how does it cope with hills? Bicycle newbie here.

(I'm changing from my Dawes Clubman, which for me is a bit on the heavy side for commuting to and from town, work or doing shopping) and this bike seems to only be a few KG lighter
