Soft bike back storage - bracing forks

I'm putting my carbon frame road bike into storage during a house move. I've just bought a dhb soft bike bag from Wiggle (and very nice it is too), but am worried about the frame taking a sideways knock and damaging the forks. When the wheel is in place the hub will brace them, but when the wheel is removed, how do you prevent them being forced together and possibly broken?

You can get plastic spacers to keep the forks from being forced together.Try an LBS, they usually have some hanging around the workshop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't worry about it - unless you're planning to pile furniture on top of it...

Similar to Keith's idea, if you can't find any of the spacers you could just buy a cheap front hub and secure it in the dropouts with your QR.
