Married to Night Train
- Location
- Salford, UK
Some people have expressed a desire to see pictures...
On Saturday, Night Train and I got dressed up, and popped along to the Registry Office in York.
There, we did the words:
and the paperwork:
The rain eased off for some photos in the gardens:
Then we headed off with our families and best man to the National Railway Museum (where we did our first 'courting'), in order to meet more friends than we could fit in the Office and show off our rings:
Then we were all packed in various cars, and off to my workplace, York Environment Centre, where we had a party, with buffet and BBQ, and a three tiered 'cake' of cake, cheese and pork pie:
Speeches were made, and a fabulous time had by all:

a YACF member who offered to do our pics for the fun of it. Our marvelous friends and family provided food and drink, master of ceremony duties, BBQ wrangling, the cake, and many other things to make the day go swimmingly.
It doesn't feel very different being married, which we think is a good sign because although the words and paperwork and party are nice to have, what matters is the commitment to each other we made when we decided to do it all in the first place.
