thanks to a Vauxhall Corsa I'm going to be in the market for a new bike. Now do I stick with the Diverge, go for something like the Sussex Whyte or there's a Genesis Croix de Fur on discount attm?

Basically I want an 'adventure' bike with 28-30tyres, disc brakes, comfortable but fast ride that can do a bit of hills and robust enough for the 30mile daily commute - should be able to go to a grand hopefully.

Any other suggestions to completely addle me?

Depending on how you view it as it is a bit weirder looking than the Diverge you had the GT Grade is bloody awesome bike does everything well. I ran mine all winter with 30mm tubless S-Ones and full mudguards.

I am even getting to like the look of it! It is my winter do it all bike the Ultegra is where the value is as the wheelset alone is £600 and weighs in a nudge under 8.5kg some bargains kicking around in the 2016 model.

I love the idea of a Croix de Fur, but I know it's a typo really.

If it weren't for the disc brakes, I'd suggest one of @biggs682's classics.
