Tomorrow's 'cross race will be in Norfolk. I live an hour away & we have 5" snow on the ground & the untreated roads are like ice rinks. Any tips for riding on snow & ice?

Don't brake sharply and go easy - use the back brake. Keep relaxed.

I was looking forward to riding in the snow at Herne Hill today but the train I was going to take into Euston was so crowded there was no way a bike was going to fit on it and I left it too late to ride all the way.
Went and rode in the snow in the park for a bit but my heart wasn't really in it.
