SMS spam

Four since 7am for various dubious services like dieselgate compo. Don't normally get any. There must be a real new year campaign going.

Not any here but then my phone automatically blocks a fair amount of them.

My phone seems to delete spam SMS messages almost as soon as they arrive. I don't know how it does that as it's not something I set up myself.

Not today but Ive had one or two spam texts in the past. I suspect that my network filters the majority of them out though and there's actually millions of them.

No SMS but a few emails allegedly from Instagram users that I report as Spam/Phishing.
I guess I get Spam messages and emails but nearly all get filtered out before I see them.

My concern would be where the SPAMers got your number from. I don't give my mobile number to SPAMers so who did? and what other details does that "leaker" hold about you that they are leaking to such people?

Quite a few are simply auto-dialling random numbers.

My phone asks me whether a suspicious-looking message really is spam. Block and report is a single click.

Not in relation so SPAM SMS but with regard to SPAM calls, I remember an excellent idea I heard if you start getting any - give the phone to a 4 year old child and tell them it's Father Christmas.

(I don't have kids but sounded to me like a good idea).
